Two legendary best friends in the spring of 2010 started a blanket fort in their dorm room. Soon others were inspired to join them and the great blanket fort expansion began. This army of tens of blanket fort builders created a community and culture of their own. Even developing smaller sub groups of blanket fort dwellers with their own customs and economy.
For use as a backdrop for the game Dialect by Thorny Games ( https://thornygames.com/pages/dialect ). This is an adaptation of two episodes of the television show Community created by Dan Harmon; season 2 episode 9 "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" written by Chris McKenna and season 3 episode 14 “Pillows and Blankets” written by Andy Bobrow.

Thanks Greg and Nicole for running the game for us. It's been one of my favorites this year. It was light, funny, gripping, and palpable. I laughed so hard I swear my immune system punched Covid-19 to next year! And I loved how Kurt, you guys, Peter, and I collaborated on words to use and there were so many puns with and without intention. Pillow fort community was inevitable but I'm a blanket fort folk forever (well until the next time I play ;)
